Our dental team will teach you ways of ensuring that we have healthy teeth and gums.

Brushing and Flossing

Brushing and flossing is one important thing that we should never neglect. This helps in the prevention of cavities and ensures that our teeth do not decay. To keep the mouth healthy, brush wash away the food particles in the mouth that cause plaque to be formed. Plaque is bad for the teeth because if it builds up for long it can cause a sticky substance known as tartar and can make teeth decay. Brush and floss at least twice daily to ensure that you are safe from formation of plaque which can cause oral hazards in future.

Avoid acidic and sugary foods

These are major foods that can bring about tooth decay, the sugary foods like sweets, cakes will combine with mouth bacteria and form an acid that damages and erodes the enamel of the teeth causing cavities. The acidic foods are also not safe for the mouth and you need to avoid them to stay away from cavities and tooth decay. Acid can also lead to loss of teeth and development of gum disease.

Drink plenty of water

Water is life and by drinking plenty of water then you are saving the life of your teeth ensuring that you consume lots of water. Water helps in washing away food particles that may be left in the mouth hence reducing chances of getting cavities. Our dental team will guide you on oral habits that are good for you.
